. -4 KING ENDORSES APPEAL TO YOUNG CLERGY.

(Rec. April 11, 0.15 a.m.) London, April 10. King George has cordially endorsed the Primate's appeal to young clergy to vclunter for service as chaplains in India. He trusts the Church of England will always realise that one part of her vocation is to minister to those who, amid peculiar trials of faith and circumstances, and in ' Special isolation are serving God in the great work of governing India.
