AMERICAN SHIPPING LAWS.
TO BREAK UP FOREIGN RINGS. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright Washington, April 5. In the House of Representatives, Mr. W. E. Humphrey introduced a Bill intended to break up foreign shipping rings. It provides that any foreign-owned vessel violating the Sherman anti-trust law shall be prohibited from entrance to United States ports. Mail contracts with foreign companies are to bo cancelled.
