Tho Wellington Acclimatisation District is re-defined by proclamation in the ,curront Gazette. Following is the amended schedule:— All that area in llio Wellington Land District bounded towards the north-west and nortli generally by the counties of Wangamii, Waimarino, and East Taiipo, ironi tho mouth of the Wangschu River to tho Rangitikei Bivcr, ;it tho nerthenstsni cornrr of tho county of Rangitikcii thence towards tho east generally by i'ho county of llawke's Bay and tho summit of tho Ruahine Kango to tho I'eilding and District Acclimatisation District ns describad in the New Zealand Gazette No. 33, of May I, 1899; thenco towards the south-west, south-cast, and north-east ijoncraHy by that district and tho counties of Woodville, DaniiDvirke, and AVeber to tho sea at tho mouth of the Waimata Siver: and (lienre again towards the !.nuth-ea<t, south, and west, generally by llio f?a to Hie mouth of (he U'angaehii Riv-?r, the. place of commoncement. including adjacent islands excepting Kapiti. Tlio aforesaid area conipriscs tlio counties of ltviVt. Mi;l:;sra, Mastcrlon, I'eatlierslon, Cii'llcpaiMl", Wairarapa South, Pahiatua, J'ikotahuna, Mauriceville, Akitio, Jiorowhenun. Kailango, and liangitikei, and parts of the counties of Manawatu, Orona, and Kiwitei. together with the city of Wellington, ths boroughs of Minimar, Karori, Ouslnw, Pclnnc, Lower Hutt, Er.si bourne, Fo::tou, Masterton, Greytown, Cavtcrton. P.ihintun, Eketahuna. l/cvin, I'almerHton North, Marlon, nnd Taihape, and the Featherston, Huntcrvilie, .fohnsonville, Marlinborongh, Upper Ilult, and Mangawckn Town Districts.
