OVER-RULING A COMMISSIONER. By Telesraph-I'reas Association-Copyright Sydney, March 27. The Legislative Assembly passed through ail its'stages tho Bill creating a board, consisting of the Minister for Public Works, tho Minister for Railways, and tho Railway Commissioner, to direct railway duplication and deviation works. MR. JOHNSON OBJECTS. (Rec. March 28, 1 a.m.) Sydney, March 27. The Chief Commissioner of Railways (Mr. Johnson) intimates that he is strongly opposed to the appointment of a Railway Duplication Board. He claims that he was not consulted in the matter, which will Cut at the foundation of independent control of the railways.
