(Dj Xoloßrgih.-PrcM ABtoclattoa.l ] Auckland, March 23, Dr. James Moir, a well-known medical ■. practitioner, of Auckland, for ninny years, s was sandbagged and robbed on I'riday s night. That evening he received a tcleti phone message to attend .a patient in ii Carlton, Gore Road, and tho distance not e being great he set out to walk to the :1 place about 10 p.m., but on the way was i waylaid by a man, and assaulted with a sandbag and robbed. e Dr. Moir was found about one o'clock t on Saturday morning on (lie footpath, lying in an unconscious condition. He was taken to his home in Symonds Street, and recovered consciousness shortly before noon on Saturday. He is now making; good progress towards recovery.
