WELLINGTON HARRIERS.
Tho ninth annual general meeting of tho Wellington Harriers' Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. liooms on Friday last, Mr. W. H. Bennett in tho chair." There were abont twenty-fivo members present. Several new members were cloctwl, and tho following oflice-benrers appointed for the coming season:—President, V. Uoss; vice-presidents, A. K. Whvte,.W. IT. Dennett, M. Burnett, J. H. Pollock, C. W. Lamb, jun.; delegate ■Wellington Centre, C. Lninberg; lion, handicappers, W. F. Wo It and W. 1). Bennett; bon. secretary, \), 0. Neill. It was decided to hold opening run from Island Hay on Saturday, April 12.
Tho annual report, adopted, congratulates members on another successful season, despite the fact that the membership of (he club shows a marked .decline. Active members this season only numbered twenty-eight. Tivenly-fivo rims were held during the season, tho average attendance being sixteen. The Irishes! number of points for nm.s-in ihiring-tlie sra«m was gnined by C. liowberry. with F. Wilton runner-up. No prize 'was allotted in this deportment. During tho spason tho lion, secretary (C. "Lamlvri;) resigned on account of oulsidn nrcsuro oi business, being succeeded by E. O'Neill. The thanks of the club are due to' the following gentlemen for donations and trophies — Mews. W. H.
