ITALIAN RYEGRASS.

(To the Editor.) Sir—l uotico in your columns to ; day a i paragraph concerning percumahsed Italian ryegrass, said to bo grown iroin special seed. I do not wish in any way to throw doubt upon this, but do wish to state- that the ordinary Italian ryegrass, if frown upon suitable soil, is not an annual, but a perennial, plant. I havea paddock of>2G acres, from which I cut , a- very heavy crop of seed last year, and 1 have cut it again this year with on equally good result, and tho grass looks as strong" as ever now—l am, etc., W. J. BIRCH. Thoresby, Marton, March 13. Chick-rearing is not only profitable, but a pleasure, when you feed "A and P" Chick Raiser. It is a complete and pro-perly-blended food for Young Chicks. Obtainable from all storekeepers—Advt.
