The House of Representatives Committee on Rules has recommended an investigation of tho American Woollen Company's affairs, as tho result of the strike at tho mills at Lawrence, Massachusetts, involving thousands.of workmen and culminating in fatal !riots. Oppononts of the company have declared that children have teen obliged to work in factories under disgraceful conditions. .
