A Star Performance.

Lieutenant 'Wnllingford, of the New Zealand Staff Corps, and foVmerly of tho Hythe School of Musketry, is ono of the finest: rifle shots in the world. Yesterday he gave an exhibition at the "Running Man," with the above result, which shows marvellous accuracy in elevation, the shots making a perforation line across "Rube." The average shooting man is well satisfied if he canget four shots on t:i "Kubo" on t.ho journey out, and tho other tliren shots of 'the allotted seven when "Rube" is on the return run. But Lieutenant. Wallingford got. away eleven shots while "Rube" was on his way out, and, I'iring with a rifle whicli he was not acquainted with, hit him six timesenough damage to satisfy tho most critical fugitive.
