Mr. de Rothschild states that he ki.ew Tebbifct when a boy, and had helpad him on several occasions. Tebbitt was finally sent to Australia. Tebbitt was brought before the PoliceCourt and remanded. His solicitor stated that prisoner's mind had been affeetod by influenza and tho over-studying of chemistry. TEBBITT WELL KNOWN IN AUSTRALIA. (Rec. March C, 8.50 p.m.) Sydney, March 6. Tebbitt, Mr. de Rothschild's nssnilnnt, was well and favourably known in Australia. He came out ten years ago as tho representative of a London leather firm controlled by his father. Until his departnro for England a yenr ago lie successfully carried on a branch office of the business at Melbourne, where his ffife is at present.
