MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

Despite the unpleasant weather last evening the Missions to Seamen Institute was well filled by an appreciative audience. A successful concert was provided by the Misses Cable and Miss Samson. Mr. J. S. Cummings hon. assistant missioner, occupied the chair. The following contributed items to the programme:—Misses Tingey, Stallard, Samson, Pringle, and Cable, Mr. Head (R.M.S. liotorua). A mouth organ competition was won by Mr. Carr (R.M.S. Rotorua), and an amusing conundrum competition was won by sailors from ships in port. The performers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
