THE TEST OF THE OVERLAND.
RELIABILITY. The test of a car is its performance— not for a. day, a month, nor a year, but continuous servioe for years—such as tho Overland Cars are designed to withstand. To securo these results every piece of material that enters into these cars—tho skilful workmanship which completes tlie whole —must bo the best that money can bny. Tho latest forms of scientific manufacture, such as heat treatment of steel, must bo employed. Yet, all tho materials in the world would not make a superlative car unless tho design he right. Tho design of the Overland is right, and as ovidenee that it can withstand a severe test we quote from a letter just received from a Hawlco's Bay motorist:—"The Overland Car 1 am now running is without donbt par excellence as a runabout, having taken mo from here to Wairoa, "Waikaremoana, and back, including; several hundred miles of demonstration iror?-;; hero to Tanpo and back, including several hundredG of miles, whilst there with heavy loads (once with three passengers and about 3owt. of trout over bad roads), and so far has still got hor tyres fnll of the original wind, while her tool bag has not been so much as opened." Discriminating motorists everywhere uro buying tho Overland. It is equnlly serviceable to the doctor, business man, or landowner. The Overland is e.vy (o control, and lends itself readily to the demands of city traffic or the open highway.
