SUPREME COURT.
CLAIM AND COUNTER-CLAIM. Yesterday the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) delivered judgment on tho non-suit points raised by counsel for tho defence in the caso in which Fleming Ross, accountant, of Wellington, proceeded against James Drysdale, sawmiller, of Nireaha, to recover .£SOO damages alleged to have been sustained, and release on memorandum of mortgage. Mr. A. It. Atkinson, with him Mr. E. C. Lovvey, appeared for and Mr. IS. Page for Drysdale. His Honour upheld both the non-suit points raised in the action and gave judgment on the claim for the defendant (Drysdale) with costs. Judgment was alio jiveo for Dryedala on tfca ccuatar.
