—: —_s SATURDAY'S RACES. The Port Nicholson Yacht Club decided tho last races, of the second series on Saturday afternoon. A good fresh southerly breezo prevailed, and the events wero fairly well contested. Results are as follow :— FIRST CLASS. Mnritai ..-. 1 Siren 2 ' Ailsa .' 3 Also-started: Nancy Stair, Waitangi. The Waitangi was five minutes late in •starting. Tho finishing times were as follow:— Muritai, sh. lOmin.; Siren, sh. lOmin. Bsec.; Ailsa, ah. 24min.; Nancy Stair, Oh. 34min.; Waitangi, oh. Slmin. SECOND CLASS. Amai 1 Lizzin 2 Rawone 3 No others started. The finishing times were as follow:—Amai, ah. 9min.; Lizzie, sh. llmin.; Rawone, sh. 23miu. RAWHITI II DEFEATED. The yacht Killara twice defeated the Sydney yacht llawhili Jl, thus retaining the Nortbcote Cup for Victoria.
