WANGANUt RAM FAIR.
The Wanganui Ram Fair will be conducted by Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson and Co., at Wanganui, on Thursday and Friday, February 22 and 23. The entry totals somo 1700 rams, selected from the best flocks in the Dominion, the quality this year being particularly fine. The Lincoln sheep will bo sold on tho first day, and all other breeds on the second day. At this fair all rams are sold singly in the ring, thus giving buyers every facility to make careful selection.
The factory supplier who cools his milk directly it comes from the cow gets a better test and subsequently a bigger cheque than he who allows his milk to disintegrate ovor-night by being kept in an ordinary vessel. During hot weather especially the milk should bo put in a cooler, for by this means it retains its real quality. This opinion has the endorsement of factory managers and iuspectors. For full particular? regarding the best coolers write to Albert ,T. Parton, Carterton.—Advt.
