Lord Rothschild, in an address at Tring, in Hertfordshire, said tho first duty of the Unionists when they have regained power should bo the repeal of tho Parliament Act, reform of tho House of Lords, and suspend the Insurance Act until it moulded with the conformity of the wishes of the people. He disliked taxes on food, but as the time was approaching when Australia, Canada, and South Africa would be able to supply all that was required, it would bo very tempting to give preference, and send them more manufactured articles.
