In order to standardise the conditions as fur as possible throughout the Dominion, it is suggested that when convenient the three-phase four-wire system be adopted for distribution at a frequency of 50 cycles per second, with ( a voltage of 230 between each phase and the neutral' for lighting purposes and small motors, and ■10(1 volts between phases for supply to large motors.
