Messrs. Dalgely and Company (PalmerEton Jiortli) report having had a good yarding at their sale yesterday of both sheep and cattle, the majority of which were sold at prices as follow :-Shcep: (hill iambs, ss. 4d.; f.m. ewes, 7s. Ed. to 9» Ml.: two-tooth wethers, 10s. to 12s. 3d. Cattle: Wanner steers, 19s. 6d.; E. cow*' £2 183. to £3; cows in milk, £3 135.: three and a. half-year bullocks, £7 12s. 6d. Messrs. Dalgety and Company. Limited, report on their stock sale at the Upper Ilutt yesterday as follows:—There was a full yarding of shjep and cattle, and we quitted everything under the hammer Ridding for the cattle was very brisk. We ouote the following prices:—Sheep, which wciia poor conditioned, two-tooth ewes, £•■ 9d.; {.f.m. ewes, lis.; cull owes, 7s. Id.: two-tooth wethers, 7s. 6d. r 6s. 9d.; two and four-tooth wethers, lis. 9d. to 12s. Id.store lambs, 4s. 9d.: forward lambs, 7s. 6d. to Bs.; fat ewes and wethers, 12s. 3d., 12s. Bd., and 135., 6d.; Roroncy rams, two-tooths, V, to 23 guineas. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Palnvrslon North sale held on Thursday, February 8, wc. had a very heavy yarding of sheep, and a medium yarding of cattle. Sheep were hard to quit, and a good many went out unsold. Cattle sold at late rates. We quote: Rape lambs, Bs., Bs. 6d.. to Bs. Bd.: storo lambs, 6s. to 7s. 6d.; woolly lambs, Bs. 6d.; two-tooth wethers, 12s. 6(1. and 12s. ,7d.; two, four, and six-tooth ewes. 12s. 6d.; aged ewes, 7s. 7d. to Bs. Id.: rams, 10s. 6d. Cattle: Two-year steers, £4 lCs. to £4 155.: fat cows, £6 4s. 6d.; forward cows, £4 lis.; springing cows. £4 165.; 18-month heifers, in calf, £3 6s. 3d.; cows and calves, £4 12s. Messrs. Abraham end Williams. Ltd.. report:—At Otaki, on Tuesday, we hid good entries of sheep mid cattle. All classes sold well at the following quotations:—A nice line of 150 four-tooth wethers made 14s. 6d.; lamb?, ss. to 6s. 10d.-. store ewes, 6s. 4d.: forward ewes, 10s. 7d. to lis.; mixed woolly sheep, 10s. 7d. to 14s. 6d.: two and a half to steers, £5; yearling steers, £2 3s. 6d. to £2 12s. 6d.; 18-month steers. £3 18s.; weaners, 19s. to 275.: bulls. £2 12s. 6d. to £5. At Shannon, on Wednesday, we had a. full yarding of cattle and a fair yarding of sheep. Cattle wsre rather dull of sale, but sheep sold well up to late rates. Two-tooth ewes, Ks. 3d. to 14s. 4d.; two-tooth wethers, 13s. lid.: lambs, 7s. 3d. to 7s. 5d.; store ewes, 55.; fat lamb's. (Mastortoii branch), report:—We held our weekly sale at tinSohvay yards on Wednesday, when wo offered a good yarding of sheep to a representative attendance of those interested. The bulk of our yarding consisted of good lambs and cull ewes, and anything showing quality was well competed for. DISPERSAL PALE. Messrs. Abraham ami Williams, Ltd., report that they conducted a most successful dispersal sale of stud I'oniirjy and Lincoln sheep on behalf of Messrs. M'Clresor V.ror„, Mastorton, jeEtordny. In all, 775 Bhces tcxc broucht under the

The attendance was large and rcprcscniative, and buyers: from outside districts were prominent. Contrary to expectations, the TUroinovs sold exceedingly well, especially the aged ewes, tbe vendors expressing great satisfaction at the averages realised.
