YESTERDAY'S MEETING. With the intention of discussing pro* posals in connection willi the formation of u branch union of the Waterside Workers' Union, (he ccal-hullc keepers of Wellington Harbour met in (he offices of the secretary of Hie Wellington Wharf Labourera' ('nion yesterday morning. Mr. G. G. FarUuid, who is handling the matter was in attendance and those present included nearly all the hulk-keepers. The men discussed matters on the lines indicated in S'jiturday's issue. Mr. Fnrlaml, having to attend meetings of the Tramway Strike Commitlop, left befora anything definite in the way of proposals was arrived at. ]t is understood, however, that as soon as ho, can find time to proceed with the proposals representatives of the bulk-keepers will seek a conference with the owners.
