PAHIATUA SHOW.
VERY PROMISING PROSPECTS. Arrangements are well in hand for the forthcoming show of the Pahiatua-Akitio Agricultural and Pastoral Association. Mr. R. D. Knight, of Longburn, has, been appointed to judge tho draught horse classes, and Mr. J. A. M'Crea, of Palmcrston North, will act in a similar capacity for the cattle classes. A large numlwr of entries have been received for tho various events, and tho gathering promises to bo a record one. The show is to bo held on tho new grounds adjoining tho town, which grounds were recently purchased by the association, ;
