An inquest was held at tho London Hospital on November 21 nil a man named Shannon, who was stated to have swallowed three watches and other tilings. An operation disposed several stones, and marbles, but no watches. Before he died he said he was down on his luck, and imported to lii* old conjuring tricks. He died from broncho-pneumonia. I.icut.-Coloncl Arthur Collins, C.B.i died on November 21 in a nursing home.
