As tho Northern Bowling Association's tournament progresses, tho' banks become more crowded and tho interest increases. In several of tho games between section winners played on tho Wellington Club's green yesterday, tho excitement grew quito intense, and every good shot put down . elicited rounds of applause. Tho weather was kind to a degree. During the day the soft southerly gradually fell nwny to nothing at all, and in tho afternoon a light northerly blew pleasantly across the greens,- tempering tho heat of a full-powered sun. Tho greens becamo as keen as glass during tho day. Many of tho players who had been put a little out of touch with tho heavier greens of a few days ago had no difficulty in losing their bowls in the ditch. ■ '- All the results of the games played yesterday will.be found below:—
