JUDGMENT-SUMMONSES. On judgment summonses, Frederick Aslin was ordered (o pav ' Thompson Bros. Ltd., .£35 lGs. 5d., by January 25. A. D. Bobbie was ordered to pay Town and Country Supply Stores 55., at the rato. of ss. per month. Charles :C. Green was ordered to pay Robinson and Sons .£■l3 ss. by February 8. • DEFENDED CASE. The only defended case was that in which Cycle and Motor Supplies, Ltd., sued J. B. Clarkson and Co., Ltd., lor ..£l2 10s., which amount was alleged to be the balance of an amount owing for rims supplied. The defendants disputed the claim. After going into tho case, his Worship gave judgment for. the defendants. Mr. Newman appeared for the plaintiffs, and .Mr. H. E. Evans for the defendants. OTAKI THEFT CASE. • A pl<?a<of guilty,was entered by Sydney Herbert Adamson, who was accused of stealing .£5, the property of Alfred Maurice Lewis. The theft was committed at Otaki on December 26 last. Adamson was fined JC3, and was ordered to make restitution. - . . Adamson was also charged with having received sums of money totalling JEG 3s. 9d., and failing to account for them to Lewis. On this charge he was fined £3, and directed to make restitution. OTHER POLICE CHARGES. Walter James' Hasler admitted stealing clothing and candlesticks (£1 19s. 6d.) and money (7s. 6d.) from Jambs Allen. He was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. . ~ , Elsie Irene Samson, a child in indigent circumstances, was committed to tho Wellington Receiving Home. For insobriety, Henry Richardson was fined 10.=. " „ , ,' Patrick Dwyer was fined .£3 for breakin;: a prohibition order. Frederick Barkman was ordered to pay 15s. per week towards tho support of his James Delkvalle, or Delia Valle, was fined .£1 for travelling on tho s.s. Nikau, between Nelson and Wellington, without paying the proper fare, and with intent to evade payment thereof.
