PASSENGERS HAVING RESERVED SEATS ON TRAINS LEAVING WELLINGTON" MUST OCCUPY SAME NOT LESS THAN SEVEN MINUTES BEFORE DEPARTURE TIME OF TRAIN. SEATS WILL NOT BE KEPT AFTER THAT TIME. From 21st December to 3rd January inelusive (except Snndays), Relief Mail trains, making same stops as the Ordinary Mail trains, will run l>ctwccn Wellington (Thorndon) and Wanennui, nnd Palmerston North and Napier (see handbill for times). The down Wa-nganui-Wcllington Relief Mail train will al.so stop at Ngaio for passengers. From lath December-to 6lh January, inclusive, Extra Express trains will run between Wellington and Auckland, (beo poster and handbill for times and stops.) NOTE.-Tho Extia Express will not. run from Wellington on Sundays. Tho Extra Express train will not leave Auckland for Wellington on Saturdays. The Up Extra Express train will connect at Frankton with train leaving that station for Rotorua at 5.0 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays only. Tho Down Extra Express train will connect at Frankton with train leaving Rotorua for Frankton at 9.0 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only. The last day on which tho Extra Express train will leave Auckland will bo Friday, sth January, 1912, and tho last day t'rom Wellington will bo Saturday, 6th January, 1912. On tho days the Up Extra Express train rims tho Ordinary Up Wellington-Auck-land Express train will bo limited, aud will take passengers from Wellington only for Taihapo and stopping stations beyond Taihape. Tho Ordinary Up Wel-lington-Auckland Express train will not tako up passengers at any stopping station l>et\vcen Palmerston North and Mercer, both inclusive. Passengers from those stations must travel by tho WellingtonAuckland UP Extra Express train. On the days tho Down Extra Express train runs, the Ordinary Down AucklandWellington Express train will take passengers from Auckland only for Taihapo and stopping stations beyond Taihapo. On Saturday, 30th December and 6th January, the usual 12.35 p.m. Wellington'Johnsonvillc train will leave Wellington 12.15 p.m., Ngaio 12.29, Johnsonvillo arr. 12.43 p.m. NOTE-From 21st December to 3rd January, inclusive, tho Napier-Thorndon Up and Down Mail trains will not take passengers for cr from stopping' stations between Pakipaki and Woodvillo, inclusive, except for or from stopping stations south of Woodville. ' NOTE— From 21st December to 3rd January inclusive (except on 25th and 26th December and Ist January; seo special time-table for these days) tho train usually leaving Packakariki for Wellington at 6.22 p.m. will leave 7.35 p.m. Tlio 7.20 p.m. Wellington-Johnsouvillo train will not run. ON 30th DECEMBER. :- In addition to tho ordinary time-tablo trains t!,e following trains will run: FOR PORIRUA-Wcllington dep. 3.45 p.m. FOR PAEKAKARIKI-Wellington dep. 6.25 p.m., and 10.50 p.m. FOR PALMERSTON NORTH-Wel-hngton dcp. 11.20 p.m., Packakariki 12.45 a.m., on 31st December, Otaki 1.40, Palmerston North arr. 3.45 a.m. This train will not stop between Wellington and Packakariki, but North of there stops whero required, except Makerua aud Linton. FOR WELLINGTON-Porirua dep. 5.25 p.m., Johnsonville 5.55 p.m. Tho 4.15 p.m. train from Wellington WILL NOT TAKE PASSENGERS FOR STATIONS BETWEEN WELLINGTON AND PORIRUA. The 11.20 p.m. train from Wellington will not tako passengers for stations between Wellington and Packakariki. Passengers from any station between Ngaio and Porirua who are going beyond Porirua must proceed to Porirua by the 3.45 p.m. train, or to Packakariki bv the 10.50 p.m. train, nnd join tho through trains at those stations. A special passenger train will leave Auckland for Wellington at 9.10 p.m. This train will stop to tako up or set down passengers at any ordinary express stopping station. . Tho Napier-Thorndon Down Mail train will not stop at Porirua, Johnsonvillo, Khandallah, and Ngaio to tako up passengers. ON SUNDAY, 31st DECEMBER, tho ordinary Wellington (Thorndon)-Pliuuncr-ton-Otaki Sunday time-tablo v;ill bo adhered to, and in addition a special passenger train will leave Palmerston North at 4.20 a.m., Wellington arr. 8.38 a.m. This train will stop only at Shannon, Levin, Otaki, Packakariki, and south of Packakariki as required. A special passeuger train will, leave Wellington for Auckland at 11.50 a.m. This train will stop to tako up or set down passengers at any ordinary express stopping station. ON MONDAY, Ist JANUARY:- . AYith tho exception of the WellingtonAuckland Up and Down ordinary and extra express trains, Up and Down Wel-lington-New Plymouth and WellingtonNapier Ordinary Mail trains, tho Up mid Down Wollington-Wangauui and Palmerston North-Napier Relief Mail trains, the 7.0 a.m. Palinerston-Wellington and 4.15 p.m. Wellington-Palmerston trains, which will run as usual, the ordinary time-table will bo suspended.
