TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for The Dominion.l SATURDAY. Braised Beef. Carrots. Turnips. Potatoes. Cornflour. Fruit Shape. SUNDAY. Roast Veal, Stuffed. Peas. Potatoes. Raspberry Tart. Cabinet Pudding. C'roam. SUPPER. Cold Veal. Mould of Sheep's Tongues. Salad.. I'ruit Salad. CORNFLOUR FRUIT SHAPE. Half pound raspberries, Jib. rod currants, J pint cold water, fwz. "castor sugar, 2oz. cornflour (light weight). Pick the currants and raspberries, and put them in a stewpan with the sugar and \ pint water. Simmer them gently until the fruit is very soft, and the flavour extracted, and then strain tho juico through a hair-sieve. Mix the cornflour to a smooth paste with tho remainder of the water, and all tho ftuit juice (which should measure 1 pint) to it. Boil (he mixture for 15 minutes, slirring continually,. Rinse out ft mould with cold_ water and pour in tho cornflour. AVhen set, turn it out and servo alono or with custard.
