The King and Queen exchanged erectings with members of the Royal family at bandringham. There was an enormous t-xodus to the holiday resorts. Large congregations attended the church services in London iootball matches attracted forty-seven thousand people to Tottenham, thirtythree thousand to Fulham, and tircntvthrco thousand to Park Royal. Largo use was made of kinematographs at hospital entertainments.
