■ : fr . SOUNDS CRUISING. Quite a- largo number of yachts loft for the Marlborough Sounds oil Saturday last, some for a fortnight's cruising, -and, some only for a few days. The White Heather (G. Hoggard)'was the first boat to get away, leaving the Boat Harbour between •} and .5 o'clock on Saturday morning. The Taniwha (G. Jackson), Ailsa (Kamil Bros.), Wylo (IT. Birnio), Muritai, (G: Bothamley), and Jtahina (Moore Bros.) got awnv on Saturday afternoon. The Siren (li. Chisliolmi • did not leave until early on Sunday morning. I'our of the yachts were in Lyall Bay at 7- p.m." on Saturday. ■ TE AEO SAILING CLUB. The Te Aro Sailing Club decided a race on Saturday in which three boats competed. .The limit boat, Valeta (65mia.), held the lead all round the course, and finished first easily. The Nan (scr.) finished second, haying held that position all round the course. The Geisha (scr.) followed the. other boats round the course and finished last. "— —--
