TWO BRITISH VESSELS ORDERED. By TeloCTiph-Press (Rec. December 25, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 2-i. Messrs. Beardniorc, at Dalmuir; and Messrs. Vickers, at Barrow,'have each contracted for the building of a battleship more powerful than the King George. The two firms havo a working agreement enabling them to arrange plans, patterns, and castings on an economical basis. It is nnderstood that, despite continued agitation, no battleship is likely to bo built by the Thames Ironworks.
