As the sapphire sky on Christmas morn lights her golden stars to greet The King so I'nir on His Mother's breast, For lie comes from lli.s Home sibovo— A holy shrine and a lowly rest For Jesus, Lord of Love! All bail, Blest Babe! In our hearts a throne All eagerly we prepare; Kieher than earth's most precious stone The soul that receives Him there! An altar high, where He lives to shed On each weary pilgrim still The Heavenly Peace, the mystic Bread, Prom Sion's fruitful hill. Abide with us. Lord, on our festnl day! Leaving trouble and tears behind, To the Manger ha-sto by the rose-crowned W, The Glorious Son to find!
