Bd.; 'two-tooth wethers, Us:.: two and four-tooth wethers, 12s: 6d.: woollv ewes and lambs, mixed ago*, 15s. 2d.; two and four-tooth wethers, 16s. 6d.; two-tooth ew6si 12?. 6d.; good woolly hogCTts, 155.: store cows, £3 to £3 lCs.; year- , ling heifers. .£3: yearling steers; .£2 Us. to ' £2 155.: fat' heifers, to £5; choice grade Holstcin heifers, to £5. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report—At, our I'almerston North sale, held on Thursday, December 21. we had a heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle, which 7nct with a brisk sale, the bulk of the entry soiling at satisfactory prices. Seventeen hundred wethers, offered on ac--count of Mr. J. Barker, of l'oranguhau, .sold readily from 12s. 6d. to 13s. 2d. Fourtooth wethers. 12s. 6il„ 125.. Ltd., 12s. (Mastcrton branch)' report:—We held our weekly sale at- the Solway ■ Yards on Wednesday, when "wc offered a. fair yarding of sheep, and a few pens of cattle to a small attendance. Sheep Mid readily at slightly above late ruling rates, ond we have to report a total clearance. We' made tho following sales:—Twotooth ewes and wethers in forward condition, 12s. 4d.: two-tooth store wethers. Us. Bd.; six and cight-tuoth store ewes, 95,; fat cows, £5 55.; dairy cows, springing, to £7: springing heifers, to £6; yearling dairy heifers, £2 12s. 6d.
