SUMMARY AND FORECAST. present indications are for freshening northerly winds generally, with a failing barometer everywhere. A ehort disturbance is likely to pass over the country soon, bringing squally, showery and changeable weather for about 36 hours. Low pressure is due in the south to-morrow, after which the Minds will change to the south. Tho weather has improved to-day, proving warmer and finer. The winds have backed by west to north iu many parts, and are of moderate force r,t:present. The barometer rose during the night, but has now a falling tendency. • D. C. BATES.
