About ten o'clock last night, a runaway cab horse caused some excitement near the Royal Oak Hotel. It appears that in somo way or other the bridle came off, and immediately the horse bolted. The driver held on to the anim.il, but the contest was too unequal, and he was dragged along, still maintaining his hold. Constable Sleeth, who happened to be at hand, ran to tho assistance of the cabdriver, and their united efforts brought the animal up.
