Estimates showed that .LlfHtO would lie nooessarv to keep tho institution going for live vears, and it is intended to attempt to raise (his sum by means nf a naval fair and exhibition. A number of those present undertook to guarantee ,t]o each towards the goods f.-r (he stalls. At the same meeting the members, ftanding, earned a motion exnressing condolence with the relatives of the brave rrench and English sailors who lost their lives, and acled bravely in rescuine passengers from Ihe steamer Delhi. The president (Vrofessor Blunt) stated that lie would see that tho resolution wns conveyed through the proper channel.
