VENGEFUL "LIBERALS." The "Otaki Maii" prints tho following paragraph "The result of the second ballot has, we regret to say, caused considerable bitterness ill various parts of the electorate, and especially so in j/ovin, where, if reports be true, supporters of the successful candidate are being boycotted bv certain ardent supporters of I lie defeated man. It is most regrettable that this intolerable sjiirit of narrow-mindednes:! and pcttinivs should be exhibited by anyone. All differences should be suuti at the poll." The Editor of The Dominion has received various communications from leading residents in Levin and other towns in the Otaki electorate eoiiiirming the truth of the reports referred to by tlie "Mail."
