'" Notwithstanding the Foreign Minister's appeal to the Mejlis3 (Parliament) to support the Cabinet and conciliate Russia, various speakers insisted on the retention of Mr. Morgan Shu.sr.cr as TreasurerGeneral as Persia's only hope. Tho Mejliss refused the Cabinet proposals.
