COMPARISON WITH ENGLAND IN EGYPT.

Caiilaux, in tho course of a debate in the Chamber of Deputies on the Moroccan situation, declared that tho possession of Algeria and Tunis bad made the occupation of Morocco necessary. Germany's demand for compensation was natural, and—although tho cession of territory was a painful subject, for he did not wish to depreciate the value of the ceded territories—franco had secured more satisfactory conditions in Morocco than England possessed in Egypt. Tho negotiations with Spain were of a delicate nature, but presented no insurmountable difficulties. SPANISH COUNTER-PROPOSALS. , Spain, December IS. It is reported that Spain has advanced counter-proposals slightly modifying the I'Tench project regarding the Spanish share in Morocco. AVIATORS WANTED. 6 AUSTRALIAN PLANS. The Federal Government has decided that an advertisement bo issued calling for the services of two competent aviators at a salary of .£IOO and travelling expenses. Tho Government accepts no liability for accidents. The Government is also calling for tendors in England for two monoplanes and two biplanes.
