PROPOSED COMPROMISE.

Tho Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants has received scores of resolutions, carried at meetings of tho branches, demanding the publication of the results of tho ballot on the question of adopting tho compromise with the companies when tho counting is completed. The joint executivo will dpcido whether the result is to be published. Many branches applaud tho oxecutive for effecting a settlement. i
