"Fair Play," tho liquor trado's journal, states: "It would bo simply folly to attempt to discount tho significance of tho Prohibition poll ia Now Zealand. It is the most serious political ovout that has ever happened in theso States. With the majority they appear to possess the Prohibitionists can coerce Parliament into doing what they aro pleased to regard as good for them. That thcM) peoplo will follow up their advantage goes without saying. The whole civilised world will watch with interest the working out of this strange situation."
