Stevenson, 18,000 up, for <£500 a-side, level terms, bonzolino balls, there was much indifferent play. In the afternoon Gray totalled 1005, including a brenk of 264, and Stevenson' 518. Gray was then over 700 ahead. During tho evening Gray mads 295. The scores now stand-.—Gray, 16,500;. Stevenson, 15,553. (Rec. December 17, 5.5 p.m.). London, December 16. Playing before a crowded house, Gray made a total of 569 on Friday afternoon, Stevenson making 698. Iα the evening Stevenson* was unlucky, and Gray was brilliantly consistent.
