MR, A. HODGKINSON'S HEBD. A dispersal sale of Mr. A. llodgkinson*s Jersey herd was held at New.Plymouth ■ last'week by Mr. Xowton King. • In all, 42 animals, including a few grade cows, were disposed of for .£B2O. Among the pedigree stock,'the top price was realised for a cow, Silver May, purchased by Mr. C. Goodson, of Hawera, for Gogns. The same purchaser also obtained Sweet I'ca at fiTgns., Countess of St. Lambert went to Jlr. John Hale, of llangorei, at 53gns., as also did Lucky Lass at 3lgns., Kavenswood Princess 26gns„ Jersey Bank Hoso 28.!gns., J.B. Treasure 2Sgns., J.B. Pretty 2Sgns.. and J.B. Sylph 12gns., and bulls,' Pansie's Pride lOgas.. J.B. Model lOlgns. 3lr. It. B. Lepper secured Rosalind Signs., Sylph 22!gns., and a bull, Silver Mine, at Ugns. Other purchasers were: J.
