ME. BULL'S CANDIDATURE. In an address to tho electors which appears in our advertising columns Mr. W. H..D. Bell, Reform candidate for Wellington Suburbs, states that in consequence of the unfortunate accident to Mr. Mcore, all appointments for his (Mr. Bell's) meetings arc cancelled. Mr. Bail hopes that this alteration of arrangements will cause no inconvenience, 'and adds:—"l trust that the, result on Thursday next may show that I still hold tho confidence of'those who, on Thursday last, honoured mo- by placing me first on the poll."
SPEECHES BY ME, MOORE. .. Mr. F. T. Mooro addressed meetings at Lvall Bay, Island Bay, and Kaiwarra last 'evening". At Lyall Bay Mr.i Bedford presided, and Mr. Moore, who was assisted by Mr. T. Young, was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.' Mr. Hills presided at Island Bay, where Mr. Moore was assisted by Professor Julie and Mr. E. J. Carey. A vote of thanks nml confidence was carried at .the conclusion. At Kaiwarra, Mr. J. B. Fitzgerald presided, and recommended his hearers to support Mr. Moore's candidature, because his platform ' was' rtyich nearer to that of tho Liberals' than 'was that of Mr Bell. A vote of thanks and confidence was carried, and the meeting concluded with the singing of "He's a Jolly Good Fellow." ' , , . At each meeting Mr. Moore roferred to the. gcuerosity of Mr." 801 l holding no meetings in consequence of his (Mr. Moore's) accident. Ho was sorry ho could not do tho same himself, but he had much ground to make up', and, with tho exception of his wounded arm, ho was thoroughly fit and anxious to keep his place in tho fight.
