Conditions moderated in the afternoon, but the weather if still unsettled. jfaslerlon, December 11.—The Hov. A. Jlodgo reported at 6 o'clock Ull3 evening on the previous 24 hours as follows:— Temperature in shade, maximum G9.2ileg., minimum 45.4deg.. incau 57.5de5.; earth radiation, 38dcs.; earth temperature (Ift. below sUTfnee), 59deg.; wind, 8.W., fresh; weather still unsettled. Carterton, December 11.—Fine weather still prevails, with occasional gusts of Hastings, December 11.—To-day has boon windy, dusty anil hot.
