The High School pupils held their annual afternoon social before breaking up for the Christmas holidays this affernoon, when the rector (Mr. J. E Vernon) addressed those present Durins the afternoon Miss Ronaldson, who is leaving to take up a position at the Waitaki High School, was presented with a travolling-comfamon and a valuable Bet pi books Mr. I. Dobbie, who is al<=o leaving, was presented with a copy of Tennyson s works.
