■ SOME ATTRACTIONS. Tlw Feilding A. and P. Association is now distributing its special prize list for the eighth-show, which-is to be held ou Tuesday and Wednesday, February 0 and 7. Tin; prizo. money in the various classes lias been liberally allocated, and, in addition, there are special trophies. Amongst these -tiro tho Jl'Manaway- challenge ciip, of i 5 guineas, presented by Mr. H. M'Manawuy. of Jhistie's Hotel, l'eilding, in the. huuters' competition; the Campion challenge cup, of 12 guineas, ill''the'lndies' hunters competition; the Lyceum cup, of 10 guineas/ in the maiden hunters' competition; two 10-guinen challenge cups for 'sheep and fat lamb classes; 30-guinea challenge, shield for Komneys'i 20-guinea challenge, cup -for sheep other than Eomneys; and a 10guinea cup for sheep and lamb classes, export oxcepted. In the pig classes, Jfr. W. S. Poole, of Kimbolton, offers n 10guinea cup: for the champion Yorkshire boar.

In renewing the prize-list, one notices that stallion classes are now catered for, and tho section for competitions ■ and horses is full and • comprehensive. In cattle, classes have been added for Holsteins, and cash-prizes-and trophies have been included in the dairy classes. •Very little alteration has been made to tho schedule for fat ■ lambs and fat sheep.' The attention of live stock exhibitors is'drawn to-the-; fact-that-the pen accommodation has been largely increased since, last show, while the* night pens are ample and-commodious, with the further advantage of adjoining tho showgrounds. The Feilding Association is an enterprising and progressive body, and, with fine weather, their show should add to the .reputation of oiio of the most important stock centres in New Zealand.
