Dr. M'Arthur, S.M., gave judgment vesterday in tho case of a claim for £GG 13s. At, as damages, made by Beatrice Amy Pinnock.(in business as the Arcadia laxi-cab and Touring Car Service) against John Kier, of Wellington, contractor. The damage was alleged to havo ten caused by the circumstance that Kicr's servant had so negligently and unskilfully managed a timber jigger that it had come into collision with a motorcar on the Hutt Eoad after nightfall, and in the impact the car had suffered. The claim included an item set out i-s loss of profit during the period of repairs (thirteen days, £19 10s.).
