Otaki, December B.—Fine! Masterton, December B.—The Ecv. A. Hodge, reporting at 6 o'clock to-nifht for the preceding 24 hours, stated as follows:— Temperature in shade: Maximum 71,6 dog., minimum 4.8 deg„ mean, 56.2 deg.; earth radiation, 36 deg.; earth temperature (Ift. bctow ground), 68.5 deg.;'wind, light W.; weather, quiet warui day. Feathcrston, December B.—Fine, warm day. Hastings, December B.—After two days of unpleasant, windy weather, to-day has been very fine.
