The building was packed to overflowing, and all tho speakers had a comparatively good hearing, but the feature of the proceedings was tho evident disfavour of the Government. Mr. HutchiEon (Opposition) and. Mr. Veitoh (Labour) wore accorded the greatest receptions, Mr. Hutchison was in particularly fine form, and his criticism of tho Goveruaieut received great applause.
