RAILWAY CONFERENCE.
NEWSPAPER COMMENTS. By Tclccrauh—Pro?* London, December 5. The railway companies' directors and tho railway men will have a conferenco on Thursday. The "Manchester Guardian" says tho militant resolutions passed by tho railway employees throughout tho country are humiliating to tho Trade Union executives by conveying the impression that the loaders have been empowered to exact concessions, but that their undertakings are worthless. Such action, adds the paper, makes tho demand for recognition impossible.
