(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Gore, December 5. ■ Tlie Gore A. and P. Association's annual show was opened to-day iu fine weather. There was a moderate attendance. . The entries were easily a record, comprising over 1030, as compared with 913 in 1303—the previous best. Crossbred cattle provided keen competition, the principal exhibitors being Mr. J). Jt'Dougall, Cooper Bros., and I?. Dodds, fill of this district. 3[r. Waddell secured most- points in shorthorns. Competition was slack in fat cattle, being confined to Messrs. IT. U. Lawlor and W. Waddell, both of whom placed {food stock in the pens. The.most points in Avrshires went to Mr. J. Campbell, and, 111 crossbrod cattle, to Mr. D. M'Dougall. In the eheep ■clas.ses Mr. A. Murdoch got most- points in Liighsli Leicestnrs. Jlr. W. Davidson took the champion certificate for the best ram in Honmey Marsh, and' Mr. D.
