■woman batteeed to death. Bj Tolccra-Db— l'russ Aesooratlnn-OoDyrisht (Rec. December 5, 10.10 p.m.) Sydney, December 5. A tragedy has occurrcl at Glenvale, near Scone, tho victim being Selina Baker. A daughter aged nine ran three miles to the township and reported that her father shot her mother and afterwards battered her with tho gun. The body was found dreadfully knocked abont.
